This preparatory program is for anyone preparing to study a degree or diploma program in 2006. This is an opportunity to brush up on your study skills, and research and academic writing ability so you can move into your program with increased confidence and a better chance of success.

Come to an introductory session in Orientation Week 2006, and find out how to:

• understand lecturers’ and teachers’ expectations
• juggle study and work commitments
• learn actively      
• read efficiently
• plan academic writing & avoid plagiarism
